cuteness in packaging is almost always a weak spot in girls when it comes to all the beauty products (or maybe other products too)

so the other day, i bought this lip balm in a mini ice cream tub for myself

(ignore my messy hair, please >_> it was the fan, alright)

i also bought another lip gloss in mini cupcake packaging for sis.

that’s cuteness overdosed! (ala Miao&Wafu, Pafu )

then, when i wanted to try it out, i figured it was kinda hard to apply it on my lips..fingers or brush?? you cant even twist to push it out..and i went, ‘damn..’

well, that’s cuteness versus practicality when it comes to reality.

ha.

but i know one thing that cant be wrong. i did my straightening perm at a salon and it was really good, worth the price tho it was not cheap. it can last at least 2 years depending on how you manage or care for your hair.

and you know when it comes to managing long hair, it takes huge effort buying stuff and slapping it onto your hair and then rinse it and then style it. (and luckily mine was straightened, but still..)

so when i saw this on Watson’s shelf, i bought it.

it was Dove’s Damage Therapy Intense Repair series’s Daily Treatment Conditioner, which, well, combines the treatment solutions and conditioner.

If you’ve been using Dove, you’d know how soft and smooth your hair can get with the conditioner. i think my hair definitely need it to prevent more split ends.

i think i also need creams/blams/serums for my rough hands,dry lips,spots and large pores…..#girlsendlesswoes

but…...

sometimes im just too lazy to put anything on myself..

some things, we do swear by it (IF, say, has been ‘living’ with it for a few years.)

but for a lot others, just like fashion, changes every season LOL..XD

here, i’ve tried two of these not-so-new products:

the Follow Me Oil Control+Whitening Poreless Blackhead Remover.

it actually exfoliates stuff from your T-Zone and chin like magic!

(yea i know i loved my egg-white mask before, i still do, but sometimes it is just so hard to not admit the new found love! LOL)

and Maybeline’s Baby Lips SPF20 Lip Balm in Smoothing Cherry.

i’d usually get the dead skin cells or dry flakes when i rub off other balms,coloured or not , from my lips. but this one? it stays true to me (my lips, i mean).

proven loyalty! XD it promises baby lips in just ONE WEEK!!

anyway, in a ‘rare’ occasion when the vain bug bites, i decided to..get vain..=.=x

erm..very work/prim and proper look with the printed lace on the fabric..and i added the ribbon myself!

and i decided to add more white pieces to my wardrobe so i got this:

it’s great for a cold weather/environment!

i know the red is a lil weird so i guess pairing it with a darker/mute colour is better..

but it is damn comfy!! =D

just a really quick post before i go off..

while i was applying my layers of night time skin care products just now..i just couldnt resist but decided to share this out with you all..

i have these 3 tubes that i totally fell in love with..not only they are cheap and on open shelves in the stores, but also very effective in fighting off my skin problems..

look at ‘em..

the green capped tube on the right is the Follow Me Oil Control + Whitening Spotless Pimple Gel..

i know we have quite a number of pimple ‘paste’ and gel on the market, but this one, not that it kills the pimples effectively with less harmful ingredients, it leaves no mark on my skin! fab?

another ‘pair’ that i really wanna recommend is the Garnier Light series’ Overnight Whitening Peeling Cream and Dark Spot Corrector Pen, both with lemon essence and other botanical extracts.

there was once i was so emo i didnt even bother to care for the spots until i got worse..and most spot corrector were quite pricey..and i met this!

after just two applications, the spots has greatly reduced,much to my amazement =D i found my savior!

ah! that’s not all, the Overnight Whitening Peeling Cream left my skin feeling fresh and much fairer, absolutely fabulous in the morning!

ha! i know you wanna try them now! dont you?

Clear Skin with Aspirin?

heard about the aspirin mask some time ago..

just like the egg white mask, it’s not something new..

look at Michelle Phan’s video:

tho it might caused the skin to be slightly dry and a little more sensitive (totally more solvable than acne,no?), it says to greatly reduce redness, black and white heads, reduce irritation&inflamation..also control oils and tighten pores!

eeeeek! i wanna try it too!

i used Disprin, Soluble Aspirin

i got it for RM1.80 for 8 tablets pack from Watsons.

errrrr..well..i seriously dont wanna scare you all off with my ugly look with the mask..

but i can be sure that it really gave me the smooth exfoliated feeling, and pores seem to be tighter too..it’s squeaky clean!

it is said that it should help to reduce the redness and inflammation in acne skin too!

but be sure to put on lotions,essences,and moisturisers as it could be slightly drying, thus one shall not do it more than twice a week.

ah..finally! after makeup, it’s time to clean it..nicely and gently..

oh how i HATE removing makeup ..

dont you??

and choosing the right makeup remover is so important, or it’ll kill our skin! (also can use vaseline and baby oil..but..you know..)

and talk about waterproof makeup!! goodness!! if it was lousy then yea it will come off easily..WITH SMUDGES..

but if it is that good..like Maybeline LONG EXTREME STILETTO Waterproof Mascara, then i need a strong BUT gentle agent to clean my face of makeup..

now, Biore has this makeup remover / cleansing oil in cotton..

and there’s even the convenient pack to be put in the bag!

so i tried it the other day, and it has no sticky oily feelings on the skin but just, cleaned!

(notice the difference on the eyes~)

so when i need to remove makeup,i’ll just pop it open, and pull one out, start cleaning, and say hello to clean fresh skin.

so my eyes are done..

now,i need to keep my lips plump all the time..

NO ..that’s too bold for me..

ewwwww..too sticky and messy..

it make my lips even drier!

and it gives me a headache when i need to reapply coz my lips would be so flaky after a while..

FINALLY, my aunt gave me this tube:

THE FACE SHOP PLUS+1 LIP CARE CREAM, shea butter..

it naturally made my lips fuller and plump and doesnt dry up my lips!

so what i did was, use this as the base/primer for my lips..then, i use:

Maybeline LIP SMOOTH COLOR&CARE tinted lip balm in Cranberry Jam

after filling in the brows and a lil here and there, im ready to go! hassle free!

(with only sunblock/brightening moisturiser!)

wheeeee~~!! XD

anybody has the same problem like mine?you could try THE FACE SHOP PLUS +1 LIP CARE CREAM..

remember the part 1 of my challenge?

i even lined my eyes with Maybeline HyperSharp liner to amplify the effects..

im not a liner person when it comes to eye makeup, fear of making mistakes and putting horrible lines on my eyes..

but with Maybeline HYPERSHARP LINER, the tip is fine and fixed, which is superb for ‘beginners’ like me..

tho i didnt draw the dramatic decor at the corners of the eyes, but it is good enough for me to line the eyes thinly..which my friend said will amplify the effects you hoped the eyes gave..

for ‘advanced’ users, Maybeline also has EyeStudio LASTING DRAMA GEL EYELINER

which comes with a brush..(itching to try this now..0_0) *ponder*

The Challenge-part 1

so days ago, sarah paid a really really short visit here when she passed by on the way home..

but my days were FULL to the brim and i hardly have time to ‘revive’ my tired-looking face..which is by doing something to the eyes..(im not even saying makeup)..

those who know me well should know how much i love the fake lashes with the ‘smudge free with maximum effect and nice to handle’ fake lashes..

and i still LOVE them , no doubt..

BUT, there are also what i called ‘bad days for fake lashes’ when the process of sticking it to the eye lids just doesnt seem to work..especially with some soft based fake lashes..and i have really limited time to looked groomed or fresh..

and i stopped using mascara coz it smudges, no matter what it claims =_=” and the effect is..*roll eyes*

but then i really needed a quick and easy solution for my eyes..

so i finally picked LONG EXTREME STILETTO by Maybeline.

so here it goes..

My Thumb Hates Me

The Magical Moment!-Obligatory Post!

HA! i finally watched my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!

for a HP-moderate-fan like me it’s of course one of the BIG moments,and totally regretted not getting the tickets sooner..

so anyway i was choosing between the jeans and the short..

well not really a hard time as i knew the cinema would be cold. so i took the jeans.

and like one of those social media ‘waves’ for #HP7, of course i checked in with Foursquare.. (must support!!=D)

guess what? found Pat was there too!! but we’re in different halls =p

(was it you, Pat, or was it Foursquare who was so brilliant/smart and tagged me with your gang?haha! )

and boy, what a farewell.. *sigh*

i could still remember what changes it brought on to me!

so the other day i made this:

not easy when you only look into the paper’s instruction (tho i know there are more that’s even harder)

and i was talking to a friend about arts..

you see, i’m glad that i had the chance to have basic guidance and alot of fun in various forms of arts.

i’ve had wushu, art (as in handicrafts and paintings) ,singing, and chinese orchestra classes as i grow up.

and what i can tell is, it really helped me.

being in the front classes (science stream, it is) is alot of stress, alright? so this helped to ‘balance’ it. i didnt feel the release of stress as it is, but i did have some time out, and just played it all out. and after that, i can focus on the academic aspects better.

plus, im not all that geeky. =_= and i do have fun.

[ also, when people talk about something artsy(ok,or maybe scientific) you wont be so pitiful. =p #shameless =_=”]

but seriously, my job requires me to be like an all-rounder, a know-all. like what most parents want their kids to be today.

well, good or bad when pushing the kids to all the ‘co-curriculum’ , it’s your choice. but remember that extremity is never good.

and you remember the talk of left and right brain? i did a small test the other day and my left brain’s value is 14 while my right brain’s is 10. (it measures by points on how much each side works and also sees which side of the brains dominates)

so it seems these artsy things also affects my brain, and then the way of thinking and reacting to things in life, left or right brain-ed.

i feel it is so important to have a balance in the brain, so one could be wiser in all aspects in life. (erm, there’s always two sides in a story? so it is neither extreme left nor right =.= extreme is never good kan?)

well alright, enough of this crap. procrastinated long enough. =_____=x

p/s: but i found the key is, whether you observed, then analyse, and connect/relate it to the real life aspects and then apply. if you dont, well, it doesnt do anything much, no?

some time ago i met this:

whole set, selling for RM12+ (or something, cant really remember)

i was like, HUH?! SERIOUS?!

coz usually a bottle of whitening lotion of that size would have cost more than RM12+, whats more with a full size shower scrub on pack. (i need whitening on my arms and calves alright, remember the two tones on my arms?)

i was sceptical at first..really. thought it could be expiring or what damaged goods.

and OH! it was this Ginvera : The Real SPA Shower Series. and it promises NO ODOUR EVEN AFTER PERSPIRATION!!

you know, when we’d been so active (like sports, household chores,WORK!) and sweat is all over, and before we even have the chance to shower, people came..=_= how to escape/distance ourselves without being impolite??

so i thought this would be good.

but wait..Ginvera? i only remember its Marvel Gel,and some sort of facial cleanser..and nothing else. and not the brand that would come to my mind when i choose something for my body. @_@” #fail

but, the #kiamsiap me decided to give it a try. that’s Green Tea shower scrub with Whitening body lotion! #broke =_____=

so i’ve tested it out for some time.

and YES! NO ODOUR EVEN AFTER PERSPIRATION!!

still so clean and fresh!! =D

and the Ginvera SPA Body Milk (Nourishing & Whitening) is good too! absorbed into the skin so fast and without the oily sticky feeling!! =0 and the smell is fragrant and fresh! not ‘overdosed’ like some others that i tried.

yes it’s about some #firstworldproblems so i think i’ll be condemned by Him. *gulps*

anyway.

clothes are all from Ti:zed Factory (except the white top on the right, which i’ve posted before)

mum said i should update my wardrobe already (yes,my mum=_= let’s say we have different preference but she is indeed ‘updated’ on that)

so i bought it when i went to Jusco running for all the other errands.

i don’t actually buy clothes from Jusco departmental stores coz most of the times it’s a lil pricey and the designs are not what i wanted. i prefer Ipoh Parade but that also requires careful selection (i.e. not too ‘shocking’) considering my profession.

but Ti:zed is another place to go for more affordable and trendier clothes, and it is better if you have some designs/cuts in your mind already,especially some of the current trends.(but dont think it covers all)

and i had to resist from buying other casual pieces =_= #broke. but never mind, i can always make them multipurpose,no?

oh yes, notice the bag? i finally bought a new one. a cheap one. still waiting to buy a good,branded one.

*sigh* i’ve always have problem with bags. i dont know why. unless im carrying a clutch going for a night event/function, a small bag can never be enough for me,it seems.

i stuff my necessities, emergency medicines, emergency image rescue tools, emergency tools for tricky situations and who knows what ..ALL in one bag. #kiasi (scared of death) =_____=”

but i swear i’ve improved alot (praise my virgoan organisation skills =_=) all things in mini version and i always find ways to organise them.

and i hate changing bags for different purposes coz i scared misplacing or losing things, so i bought a ‘multipurpose’ one. =__= #kiasi2

i actually spent some time (a very long time i think) to move all the stuff to my new bag, and i sacrificed my gastric medicine (well,since i dont get much attacks these days, i figured) and the surgical face mask (yes that was the kind of things you can find in my bag! doubt not!)

i hope this one can last until i buy a good,branded bag. *wonder*

well, i’ve just started an experiment..

with..

Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion

so it is actually a ‘lotion’ with whitening function (as in, toner,but not the astringent type)

it is high in Arbutin ,to fight dark spots, and optimize skin’s radiance and translucency
high vitamin C to help skin recover from sun damage and also reduces dark spots for clear fair skin
and Hada Labo’s Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate skin
not to forget, sans common skin irritants.

i wanted to buy this even before my own toner finishes because im fascinated by both the whitening and hydrating fuctions with high efficiency, and it would be great for people like me who has frequent sun exposure by driving..(can count the dark spots on my face =_=)

the other reason would be the experiment, and it does sound weird, you’ll see.

the experiment im doing is not only on my face, it’s my body’s ‘dark spots’..yes, with the toner..

this is their Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising Lotion..1 sold every 4 seconds in Japan..and because it is so pure, it can be put on other body parts to hydrate the skin area specifically.

so i thought, i’ll try my Arbutin Whitening Lotion on my body too!

the allergy/sensitive philosophy: now when you’re choosing your products, it is very important to always remember that, no one product can be safe to use on all types of skin with allergies/ sensitive skin. they can only remove most of the common skin irritants, but each skin is unique and who knows which particular element can trigger yours. the same goes with food. so, it’s like you never use, you never know. =p

so obviously now im writing,as you can see..for the benefit of those who care to read/know..*sigh* #shameless

so it’ll be all about this evil BB cream, which seemed to be the fav of many asian stars as it claims to have multiple functions in one bottle, i.e. foundation/coverage, blemish balm (which,was the main character of this product), whitening+UV, anti-aging and more, depends on the brand/product..some even have the gemstones’ extract =_____=”

i have been putting make up since secondary school,for performances. and as many other ~~vain~~ girls, i once used this product too, tho i didnt ‘embrace’ it/ ‘worship’ it. i thought i’d love it as i was always on the go, moving from work to gatherings or running errands and etc..it was just convenient..

so one day i find myself having weird ‘glow’ (more like ghostly, get it?), not that kind of ‘glow’ we girls wanna have, you see..and when i go under the sun, somehow i can clearly see the layer of BB cream above my skin, like elevated..=.=”

i didnt think much, but i stopped using it anyway. i dont usually put foundation as i think it is too clogging for my skin and troublesome to maintain..i dont use lipstick too as i deem it too thick/bold for lip colour.. but i love my fake lashes, tinted lip balm, tinted moisturiser, and blush.. and i changed to put on masks more frequently, and make sure i use appropriate product for my skin based on skin type and the functions i want, separating day (UV based) and night products (as the skin works differently at different times)..

then one day, i saw this video:

basically it says,

as the word ‘greed’ tells, there just cant be that many elements in one product, and very often,to reach that goal, it could involves other ways of production that harm the skin.
it could well covers, but will never nourishes the skin. = not nutritious for skin
many of us wanted the ‘glow’ on our skin, so manufacturers also includes the fluorescent elements in the BB cream, which, if you go under the night club’s light/flash, you actually see the ghostly-lit face.

with logical consideration, i think this is very true..so i ditched my BB cream.

case 1: not long ago, a friend asked me about it. i said, you can try other stuff but never the BB cream( due to the reason above). and soon another friend of ours also commented that it is true that BB cream is not trustworthy.

[for stage performances, i still recommend the foundation, as the light is too harsh, but remember to let skin rest and recover from make up,always, or your bare face/skin would collapse]

case 2: alright this is very embarrassing..i actually saw a photo, and felt something is not right..so the very kepoh (nosy) me went and asked my friend whether she used BB cream, and true enough, she suspects that the bad breakouts was caused by it (she has just opened that bottle of BB cream), so the even more kepoh (nosy) me went on and explained to her. (good thing must share, right? =_=)

so now you know how evil it is..

as i’ve always said, the skin is more important than the make up, nourish it instead of covering it..(also dont need to scare the BF away after wiping the make up off..LOL..)

so, do you find it beneficial? need more?(and about what if you do)

ah! just a quick post and i just have to blog about this!

im just done with this movie, the Borrower Arrietty by Studio Ghibli.

if you dont know what it is yet, see this:

it’s about this mini mini girl named Arrietty from the mini mini family in the mini mini world..

i watched the french version so i dont really get the details, but i get the story line in general, and the art? needless to say..always so enchanting! exhilirating!

so it says there are the mini world within us, and this movie is about this particular family under a house, and how they survive by ‘borrowing’..so imagine a piece of biscuit can be turned into a pack of flour for them, a cube of sugar (which is ‘featured’ alot in this movie, symbolic?) and drinking drops of water..and etc..

so one day the ‘giant’ boy discovered them but he was nice to them. all is well until the dumb maid tried to get rid of them =__=x tho the boy tried to protect them with his frail body..

so in the end they had to move, understanding that it was two different worlds, and they better learn how to make use of the nature’s stuff instead of borrowing..but i think Arrietty kinda accept the other boy from the mini world.. ah ok scrap that.

all in all, it described quite a big part of our fantasy about the possible existence of another world (other than the animal kingdom)..

heh..alright..work is calling.

i have no idea what to name this culture (or maybe i didnt know deep enough), but i kinda adapted to it since my uni days, when i need to wait for someone, a bus or train and etc.

it is like a combination of alfresco and people watching..(eh wait, im not a stalker ok..)

alright lemme tell you all about it..

it’s kinda philosophical..hence this post is heavy duty (HAHA warned ya)

usually i’d pick a cafe (or mamak =__=) and order something,drinks or snacks if the time permits, then get my book or magazine out, and i’ll start by enjoying the food/drink, and book/magz..i mean really enjoy the stuff on hand..

and very often, i’ll also observe the surrounding and people..guessing their stories..(ha! philosophical now! no?)

and at times, inspiration strikes..and you’ve just got a lesson in life..

and here’s what i had last night at the train station:

roti canai and hot milo..LOL they only have this when i arrived..yea the bottle is mine..

pictures of the KTM stations, including the Majestic..

waiting for the arrival..i was so used to it..i mean, travelling with public transport..beat me in that..

the interior of the cafe in the Majestic..

some people hate the ‘alone time’ and feel depressed just thinking about it..

i’d just ditch that..and take it as a chance to enjoy ‘discovering the world and myself’..

you know how they always say that the men and women’s problems have to be treated differently? (hormone and sort) so i picked up an anti hair fall’s and read that it treats dandruff, dryness and itchiness, aside from hair fall..

yup..suits me..

the results?

the first wash doesnt show much but from second wash onwards, hair fall and itchiness has greatly reduced..

so glad i dont have to bear with itchy scalp and falling hair anymore!

wait..

i think pimples are popping up on the forehead..oh damn the late night dramas..

this is the book fair, dont even mention about the NovelHut second hand bookstore im telling you..

(the truth is, i still have 8 books in a pile beside my table,waiting to be read=_____= see that now?)

like, we were there in a hotpot restaurant for mothers’ day early celebration on saturday and sort.

but. unfortunately it didnt work for me.

either people were there and it was too rude/busy to take out the phone and check in during important gatherings,

or that place was just too inappropriate (for any reasons, mainly about disclosing the company/people’s whereabouts too much) to check in.

but one thing it sure did well.

whenever there are major events, and all check in at the same place around the same time, it gives that kind of ‘wave’ of social media ads like Twitter Trends#. (yea imagine the #Bieliebers.)

oh wait. another one. you can ‘bump’ into your friends and say ‘Hi!’ as you scroll through your Foursquare page. but watch out the steps. =p

Magic Mask!!

[alright, let’s see how many people click this. but anyway]

ah, i told ya’ll to take note of the picture,no?

i know 100Yen shop and some other shops (beauty shops) sells the plain mask sheets (without any serums or stuff,so you can dip/saturate it in your favourite ‘elixir’) and i even saw plain eye mask sheets..

but after reading Tey Cindy’s post on this cute thing in the picture (also available in SaSa but possibly different brand or sort, and mine was heart shape!! <3<3) , i was eager to try this tho i didnt actually/specifically decided to go out and buy this.

WARNING: POTENTIALLY ADDICTIVE.

oh,and here’s what i used:

Ok the story is, my bottle of Vichy Eau Thermale has a faulty nozzle that will literally splurt out alot of the ‘elixir’ once i press the nozzle (aside from the regular spraying) so i had a hard time to decide whether to waste it all at one use or just let it rot in my pink basket..

so instead of thinking how to crack open the bottle to fill that oval space as shown in the picture, i just press the nozzle once and let it does its work to ‘splurt’ out enough for the oval space, to do this:

annnnnd here it is:

ROFL!! XD eeeeeeeeee~~~~~ isnt it fun??!!

and carefully opened it and spread it on my face,letting it absorb the Eau Thermale..

well, was out with god sis with the intention to bring her around the new De Garden’s Ladies’ Street..ended up we spent the longest hour (if im not mistaken,yes,hour, or if we may, hourS..) in just one shop..Tokutokuya..

it is similar to 100Yen with product prices around RM5 and sells whacky jap tools which you would be amazed at how they come about such idea to help the mankind or sort..we she practically had fun in the shop exploring all the stuff =.=” (it has been my love long before this so im not new to it alright =p )

for those of you who like tear-inducing movies, here’s a jap movie i recommend

these are the five kids on a mission to see their beloved friend who was very ill in a far-end hospital before their kindergarten graduation ceremony..fearing that their friend is gonna leave them forever and also not able to join the memorable occasion/ceremony..

and during the not-so-long trip on the train 電車 (which, is pretty convenient over there,and yes they ran away from the kindergarten compound), one by one left the mission accidentally somehow and found by the officials who contacted their teachers and parents..and viewers will get to know their own little stories and characters as the trip goes..

apparently she’s suppose to be quite famous 0_0 and quite pretty too!

IT NEVER ENDS!!

yesterday i was going through some stuff in a small shop in Ipoh Parade with Sarah..if it wasnt for we’re not sure of the genuineness of the stuff there i think it can be considered on par with SaSa..imagine the beauty tools you can find there..with cheap prices!

and we were looking at the curling tools there..and ah, as always, the #girlsdilemma is about curled versus straightened..

you know how you always miss your feminine and voluminous curly hair when you’ve just straightened your hair, and then only miss your fuss-free straight hair when you just done curling your hair?

NEVER ENDING!! =_____=

still,

i was thinking of getting this:

im now thinking of TEMPORARILY curling my hair..(must emphasise ‘temporarily’ =_= coz i still love my FUSS-FREE straight hair, and you can always re-style any kind of curls you want, note: any kind.

this thing is good coz it is

1. temporary(note: love my straight hair=_=)

2. can control the size of the curls by pulling out the ‘pins’

3. not as damaging as a curling thong (the heat, like straightening iron, can damage the ends like,alot!)

4. not as time consuming as the rollers (now they have plastics ones, velcro ones, and sponge ones for you to sleep with =_= Sarah wanted to get the strawberry shaped one =p)

you just need to spray curling mist before and after tugging this thing in,then blow dry..wooooosh! =D

see la! isnt this called 犯贱 (cantonese,mandarin, can be substituted with “you’ve seriously nothing better to do/think,dont you”)

coz i just straightened my hair last december (plus it’s the the good and expensive one) ! and now it is only april! *stare*

and i welcomed her with these outfits LOL..

what do you think about ‘em? (that poor necklace broke while we visit the train station! sad max! > __ < )

alright anyway, she came with her grandma so i treated them the salt-roasted chicken (yea that’d be more exact) nice?=D

we then went to the train station at the old town area..which is basically where you see the colonial buildings..photos are still with her

then after a failed attempt to get another salt-roasted chicken for her grandma to bring home,(sorry!) we sent her off at the bus station before we continued to the famous snack place under a big tree – it’s the soya skin-wrapped turnip snacks that goes with the noodles..but we only take the snacks as we’re still quite full..this is a specialty in this place and it is so crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside..yum! =D (right babe?)

we then went to Jusco and De Garden, girls being girls, we bought some stuff..haha..

and then a missed turning led me to bring her to Tanjung Rambutan and Tambun for more sight-seeing

and well, i dont know what happened but, we didnt manage to ride a horse..yaiks.. [according to her, Ipoh has alot of private hospitals, Public Bank, and Horses! ROFL XD ]

and we went home to bath and prepare for the focus of the night-

the Bean Sprout and Chicken!! and that was so yummy and we were stuffed! (coz we had half a chicken,i think..and a plate of bean sprout and also the pork balls) think you have to bare with the staff’s proud attitude eating there tho..people famous mah!=_=x

another round of shopping at the local specialties shop follows, then.

and thanks to me! she saved money from buying irrelevant stuff LOL..XD (am i not good??)

and when we’re home, the true girl's’ night started! what do you expect? it’s chic-lit (Sophie Kinsella’s Mini Shopaholic) + chic-lit movie (The Ugly Truth) + gossips! nyahahahahaha!

morning started off quite late and we went to the Lost World of Tambun..and i’ll tell you,that they have..

YUCKY FOOD AND RUDE SERVICE AT THE EATERY! =__=

so we went around searching for dry activities coz didnt wanna get wet and sunburned..

ended up we had a mini cave (yup another specialty of Ipoh),Petting Zoo, Hot Spring (starting to sound like all-in-one right?) alright another mini Zoo, excluded the pools, and expedition trails(have to pay more for this!)

for RM38..it’s alright i guess? but fill your stomach first before going in.

then to Ipoh Parade we went and hunted for some cheap stuff. ended up me getting a New Headway Beginner’s Student’s Book and Teacher’s Book (and another activity book)..who with a sane mind would sell such precious material to a second hand bookstore?! =_= but still i got it..you always have to diggggg to find treasures in the second hand shop, no?

and off we go to get the egg tarts at old town but..ah..sold out..=_= so got her the chicken puff..(sorry again!)

and we said goodbye =(

sorry im a not-so-good host!! =( the next time you pass by tell me earlier and i’ll get you the salt-roasted chicken and bean sprout!

okay, by looking over HERE at this post i shall make you all swear that you wont tell my parents about this.

right. anyway. something stupid happened.

and you wont be able to imagine how stupid it was.

so last night i had the ‘feel’ of gastric. so i quickly grabbed a slice of bread and drank something. thought would just sleep it through.

but i think it is getting more frequent and unpredictable.. i had these attacks before but not like there’s a need to stock up on the meds.

like end of last year i had an attack in the middle of the night, ate something and then slept..i couldnt even sleep well and by 4am it got so bad i had to go down and get some hot drinks and bread..and when i wake up by 8 it didnt get any better so i had to see a doctor to get a prescription. and that lasted for 3 whole days and a tad bit late of taking the meds would give me a super sour punch in the stomach!

last night, it happened again. =_= and i dont have any medication with me coz i finished the last course then. i told myself i wont let it happen again especially in the middle of the night when i want to sleep! so yes i grabbed the slice of bread and some drinks. and yes i did thought of sleeping it through but it didnt give any sign to cease!

so i had to get some medication,and i decided this time i would stock it up.

BUT WHERE?! at this time of the night!

=_= ahhhhh that’s it.

guess what? brother was awake so asked him to take me to the doctors and he brought me to government hospital’s ER outpatient counter. (only RM1 anyway. private clinics might charge more for 24hr system)

in pain, i finally found the counter to register for outpatient and the paramedic sent me to do an ECG. =.=” probably thought i cant differentiate an angina pectoris or gastric. or just in case.

so anyway i got my ankles and wrists clamped and several tiny suction cups on my chest after slapping gels on them. (oh then it left love bites on my chest. so sexy right. =_____=x)

and of coz it was not a heart problem!

so after what has been like years (pardon me but it feels so, plus i was still in pain!!), i was finally called into the consultation/treatment room. but the doctors had to treat those more serious patients first so i had to wait. it IS an ER so what do you expect?

anyway, coz the one treating me is a houseman/house officer (quite charming LOL) so he cant make much decision so yes again i have to wait, wait for the senior to come and decide.

so since i was confirmed as having none other than a gastritis (senior: the patient ordered the prescription wad..) i was finally given the prescription slip to go to the hospital pharmacy to get the meds. (note: FINALLY. =__= it was already 2+am!!)

so we got home and i showered immediately. for the countless trips i’ve took to the hospital, i’ve never seen such ‘dirty’ examination bed like the one in ER..=_= spots or..you know,could be tiny ‘stuff’ left by the previous trauma patients..

alright STOP. i’ve always very pantang to sleep on the ‘common pillows/beds’ in the examination room so yes i showered immediately after that i dont care how late/early it was.

and finally..took the medicine and slept. =D

and now, i have to bring the Magnesium Trisilicate Mixture and Ranitidine/Histac 150 wherever i go. =_____=

guess what? streamyx in my house decided to put up a strike yesterday afternoon because of..er i dont know why. but it sure inflicted alot of pain on us..

called 100 and couldnt do anything until brother was home. so i used my phone to go online.

still, didnt get any better (if you consider the modem’s internet light moving from red light to yellow light is one, that is)

so the very sad,gloomy and disappointed me decided to give my own phone a try as a modem to my laptop.

worst. try. ever.

because not only it didnt work, I COULDNT EVEN GO ONLINE WITH MY PHONE AFTER THAT!! settings went havoc!!

Urbanites 101: DISCONNECTION KILLS. or almost.

this morning , dad couldnt stand it anymore so made me call the 100.

after all the checking and confirmation, the customer service personnel decided that the solution is to reset the whole connection.

so there, we got our streamyx back.

*yay*

but not so fast. i still have problem with my phone. *curse*

went all the way to the telco centre , just to be told that the customer service personnel only comes in at noon. =_=

so the very kesian me had something in McD while surfing with the free wifi. #allhailfreewifi =_____=

and finally the customer service personnel came and started troubleshooting my phone.

after some gruesome wait (i forgot how long,but yes, gruesome enough) my phone’s internet is alive!! =D

maybe not so but..almost..

just after i was all dressed up to go out and buy something, i saw an unfamiliar car waiting just opposite of our houses (neighbour) ..i decided to first wait in the house..

now im just being frank here. if you know my area,you’d know how scary the crime rate is over here. so i DO have my reason to do so.

so after the unusually long waiting time i called up the local police station to ask them to just make a round (note: not reporting crime or asking them to make an arrest ok!) , being a good and responsible civilian and all. i even took the photo of that car (camry) *hand cover eyes*

and then..it appears that it’s the new potential buyer of the other vacant house.. =.=”

so i immediately called the local police station to explain he is the buyer and all,but still,asked them to make a round,you know,just in case.

ok now. you may laugh at me. *sulk*

and that’s not all..

i told myself to go to an ATM before going out. and yes, i forgot all about it,until i reached the fly over,which is already , well, way too far. =_=

i said,fine. let’s go to the one in the mall.

and upon reaching the mall,i decided to take the outside parking which doesnt require parking fees, coz i’d be very fast (target shopping) and this is not Jusco or Tesco, they charge per entry.

but again,yes, on this time of the day they decided to close the outside parking. AHAHA.

fine.

made rounds to see any cars going out.

NO luck.

fumbled for change for the parking entry..

oh here comes the part..i didnt bring the small change, i only brought my essential cards in a smaller purse,thinking to just take money from ATM before purchasing.=_=

searched frantically for coins in the car.

then suddenly a brilliant idea popped up. grabbed the remaining few local council’s parking coupon,then made a big round to reach the opposite parking lots at the local council’s office.

the other side of the parking was closed for some project,but i told myself i can just get out from the same entrance. *overconfidence* =_____=x

then walked over to the mall and just bought the stuff (oh and yes, i DID remember to take money from the ATM before purchasing. great achievement. no?)

actually i just bought some work stuff, and Shi Lin (士林) extra crispy chicken chop and oyster mee sua for my grandparents, since we found it quite delicious having it the other day.

so off i went quickly to my car, thinking the 30min limit was over.

uh uh.

i’ll tell you what. it was a 60min coupon. =__________=

oh my,if i’d known that i would have check out the super crazy book sales @ Popular!! (90%!!)

ah fine i quickly delivered the tasty stuff to grandpa and then went home.

i said it rinses off very easily and does exfoliate the skin.

just today Abby asked about the DBKL summons and its link with JPJ/PDRM..(no,she’s not the one getting summons)

most people dont pay the Majilis Bandaraya/Dewan Bandaraya’s summons deeming it wont do any harm to their drives. (JPJ and PDRM is the one issuing the road tax and insurance and stuff.hence that.)

and, again, after my previous post on how inconsiderate some people can be , i saw it again.

the comments there stated some of their friends have as much summons as a dictionary’s thickness..

and you wonder why the ignorant and arrogant people are still outside making people’s lives miserable. proof?check the infamous tweet rage about double/triple/multiple park-ers.

and as i said,you better pay it,or ‘the above’ will take it from you,double or more of it. doesnt matter discount or not.

in another case,i was well ‘humoured’ by some articles in today’s main stream chinese newspapers..it talks about the summon-scenario that has just,well,ended,i hope..along with all other traffic tales like bribing officers and etc. (and NO,i did not do that,i paid my one and only parking summon-for parking without coupons, and i passed my driving test by myself. so thanks dad.=_=)

and also,a recent video circulated in FB-verse about a supposedly ‘deputy director’ of the Malaysia Tourism Board in Taiwan,apparently being charged for molesting a sales girl when he was drunk,and peed in his pants when he was arrested and questioned..

shame to Malaysia ..a deputy director (i supposed?),and on our own tourism board..

due to my skin condition now,which i hope it recovers quickly..i had to change my skin care products..well, consider myself lucky coz the regular ones were running out anyway..

so,what i’ve been using since two days ago:

Sebamed cleansing bar for shower..

Eucerin White Solution,which absorbs quite fast..and dont even feel the ‘grease’ under hot weather like my regulars..hmm should consider this as regular =_=..

the now-very-famous Hada Labo, the AHA+BHA cleanser..claims to give such smooth skin like a shelled egg..what i can say for now is, it is really irritants-free, as in no fragrance and stuff etc..and skin feels smooth from the first wash..but,we’ll see..

their most famous and hot selling product is actually their Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion

actually has been searching for it in malaysia for sooooo looooong!! (since the widely circulated video showing how to tie it,yes)

no! not the convertible of cars..it’s the convertible of dresses!

and now i have my very own convertible!! *excitement*

so today,i received my first ever purchase from Jipaban online shopping mall, and it was from twentyseven concepts shop. yea so go click and shop!

with a love note inside..how cute..

which doubles as the name card..oh wait,the name card doubles as the love note..=.=”

lo and behold..

it is actually thiiiiis looooong..

see how i hang it?the lower part (as in the skirt) is not that long but the upper part (which is for us to tie around) is sooooo looooong i had to twirl it for a few rounds to avoid it touching the floor.

[oh and i secretly thinks that you’ll need another person to hold the long part to help you fashion and tie it..no, im serious..=_= ..i can trip with such long fabric..ahem..]

so as for now, i do masks regularly (more like you have to do it ‘religiously’ 0_0 ) and make sure i put on my sunscreen and moisturiser..

even if there is an occasion which i need to put on some make up i wouldnt use foundation..i can feel my skin suffocating!! =.=””’ ar okay anyway, i use a good moisturiser (pearl or something like that) and just do my eyes,cheeks and lips..that’s it..

as i’ve always told my friend, a good complexion is much much more precious than a good foundation..

but it is one hell of an issue for being proud by not obeying rules and being inconsiderate..

why?? coz the pair of stupid aunties in front of me just parked their car at the designated parking space for the disabled..and happily came in to have their McDs.

[i am here coz my housing area is under maintenance for the electricity.]

i was eye-examining them,seeing whether they are crippled,dumb,mute,or amputated and whatnots. NO.

dont tell me: there are no disabled people here wad?

fxxx.

so what if a real disabled came and was searching for the space?you immediately go out and move your car? i doubt so!!!!!

same as those ‘thick-face’ people i talked about with my friend the other night. he said: their skin is thicker than the truck’s/trailer’s tyres!

just because you want those ‘benefits’ you do something as shameless as that!

eg:

1. some stuff that you clearly know (and the staff knows too!) you’re way over the insured or ‘claim’/ ‘exchange’ period and you went over to make a big scene out of it just to get what you wished for,without paying anything. then proudly tell people your ‘thick-face skill’.

2. violate the rules (especially on the road) and proudly tell people you can do that,and not get caught.

DONT DO THINGS THAT YOU DONT WANT OTHERS TO DO UNTO YOU!!

1. you think you’re so clever in claiming your ‘benefits’/ ‘rights’? then let others do the same to you (especially if you’re doing business too!) let’s wait and see who will help you when you’re in a real poor state!

2. the rules have their own reason to be there! if you violate people’s rules then wait and see when people will violate yours! especially those who uses phones without handsfree while driving. tu lah pasal accident kat jalan! siapa yang susah nanti??

and also saw a comment on The Star Newspaper: gave you 6 MONTHS to pay your summons and only went over to the hellish,crowded counters on the last day trying to pay,and when the system is down due to the heavy traffic (caused by YOU YOURSELF!!), and you DARE to complain about the ineffectiveness of the authorities!!

i saw with my own eyes, the uncle said loudly: of coz it is down la..use such an old useless system.. useless.. (when,apparently when i went to the counter to register as a voter-yes finally-the computer wasnt even an old one! it was a new flat-screened one! what?you want a glass/ touch screen one??!!)

and i even saw so many with a THICK stack of summons! and you wonder why they are still on the road!! dont follow rules and cause accidents,and then the blaming game starts. so whose fault is it now? (even the rasuah thing is what you started ok. cant you just pay your summons and learn the lesson??!!)

and now you wonder why some say: first class facilities,third class mind set. and you still dare to blame that on others.

dilemma 1:

[every now and then] im super sleepy but i also feel like blogging. so how?blog or not? DILEMMA! (but yes the answer here is obvious and yes,once again im blogging while im in a sleepy mode *hand covers eyes*)

this is one tough question. seriously. career line, A,B or C? (look! THREE!!) i like to do A but it doesnt give me protection/much ‘benefits’. i can do B but i dont really like B coz it can kill me,literally. i now have a C which is pretty new and it’s a target and i am hoping to reach it,then i can earn $$. so HOW?? The Baking Me!

lemme tell you one thing, i have never been successful in baking. =_____= so sad right?

but unlike cooking,baking is wayyyyy trickier =_= anybody agree with me here?

anyway,in the name of Martha Stewart’s spirit to handmake your own thoughtful gifts, i baked.

and as im-paiseh as i could,[‘im’ as in ‘im-polite’,adjective] i annouced to the whole world that i succeeded in baking the cookies for the first time (sort of,actually) through FB and Twitter. sorry lor too excited. =__=x

and the recipe of success is this:

Chocolate Sugar Cookies:

2 3/4 cups (355 grams) all purpose flour

3/4 cup (75 grams) unsweetened Dutch processed cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon (4 grams) baking powder

1 cup (227 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

1 3/4 cups (350 grams) granulated white sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Royal Icing Using Egg Whites:

2 large (60 grams) egg whites

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

3 cups (345 grams) confectioners (powdered or icing) sugar, sifted

and a little tip which i learnt from my patissier aunt:

to freeze the rolled up dough wrapped in wax paper/baking sheets. so it will be like a long frozen cylinder.

reason: it will be easy to cut into pieces/slices and bakes more evenly and you can make alot at one time and save the rest to bake only when you want it.

and as i said,i broke the hand mixer doing this. (i really dont know why dont know how,dont ask..T_____T)

so i had to use fork to whip up the royal icing. but it was so fun!!

with all the colours and it’s hardening process.

so i painstakingly patched up the special character i want , one by one,step by step.

hah! as the cantonese sayings: use alot of money also cant buy!!

in the end,it’s the thought that counts =)

nah…..i wasnt on a plane, i was in Jusco.

so i saw this old Japanese couple,trying to ask for the direction for some..‘food’.. the sales assistant told them the direction of the food court. but they still seem confused..=_=

then they went up with the escalator, and they asked another guard again.. and the guard told them the same thing..i doubt that’s what they were looking for..

this time,i decided to chip in and kay poh..=_=

somehow i knew they were referring to the fresh market,which would be at the ground floor..

so i told the guard to leave it to me and i’ll show them the way..

i wanted to start speaking my Japanese! but……….i forgot how…..

arghhhhh!! *runs in frantic circles*

well i better not embarrass myself,i thought. so English it was.

so anyway i brought them to the place and YES,they were referring to the fresh market. then i left them there.

while i was picking up my own stuff i was still so worried about the old couple,i kept wanting to guide them all the way or ask them how they are feeling..

then i really met them in the fresh market. and we paid at the same counter. but the Ojisan was too busy trying to figure out yet another set of information the cashier tried to tell them he didnt notice me. anyway they settled it pretty soon. and i had to pay my stuff so i didnt even went up and ask ‘all OK?’

and when i finished paying my stuff they were nowhere to be seen =_=

i just hope they are alright..*prays hard*

you know,the hospitality and kindness is so important to tourist or newcomers..they are so..kesian..=.=

so i think,erm,be a good samaritan, but only when the situation allows.

The Tour Guide..

so on friday night, i went to book the crab dish (yea no kidding here,save that for later) and went ahead to meet Ah Shing @ the hotel..

while we were catching up, i was told that they need a tour guide the next day..so i was like: OK no prob.

and boy what a ‘tour’ it was.

so i pumped the petrol then went home and google-mapped all the routes til midnight then forced myself to sleep.

yesterday morning i woke up at 5am and did the routine. departed by 6+ to pick them up for Dim Sum. but we only head out by 7+. and damn, as an Ipohan i cant figure the route to Foh San initially. =_=” coz getting in the driver seat and sensing location/direction while walking are two different things..all things got complicated..im so sorry!!

So anyway, i brought them to Foh San and we were so lucky as the up stairs’ has just opened, which means we get a table right away!

as i told Ah Shing,i settled all my cravings of the prawn noodle rolls,the prawn and scallop dumplings,and the fried prawn rolls. (same to the maggi and burger and stuff i was craving for this week. OMG what has this become.)

do you sense all those PRAWNS?? woohoo!! (and this will relate to my dinner last night!)

by 9+,we went back and checked out after the lot did crazy shots in the room..XD and you just have to praise me for my years of Paparazo-us skill to capture these:

we went ahead for Perak Cave Temple (just one of the many in the mountainous Ipoh)..then one smooth route all the way there..

and what we did there was just beyond my own expectation. all of us prayed, climbed (YES.), and DINED!! we got free tea and porridge from the caretaker auntie there. so it was like, so holistic and bla bla bla LOL..(by this time my battery is 50% drained out. so, thanks to the porridge!)

[oh and Kimberly?no worries! you’ll see the path eventually! =) ]

we went along the long Jln KK to the Perak Museum, and all the way down to the Old Town area. (once again i parked so far off the spot. =_____= )

since all were not hungry yet, we stopped by the Kinta River for more shots then proceed to ease the heat @ a restaurant my bro once brought me. i was hungry by then so i ate. they all got the egg tarts as the tarts were just fresh out of the oven.

we decided to go to Ipoh Parade but we ended up jammed in search of a parking lot.=_=”

in the midst of walking Bryan told me some guy was ‘admiring’ me. =_____=” i was all covered up under the air-cond,plus i had my spect on without makeup..ha..i have no idea who and why. coz if it was someone i know,i should’ve got a missed call.

anyway sent them off earlier than the designated time to settle the tickets and wait for the train earlier.

by the time i was home my braind shut off and i cleared my hand bag,the clothes plus bathed all robotic-ally. (absent-minded-ly) =__=

i practically had to pull myself up for dinner.

and thaaaaat’s when i sense what Ah Shing told me on the way to the train station.

coz when i went to the restaurant enquiring for my booked crab dish,my brain suddenly registered it as something i booked days ago when i just booked it the night before!! =__=

ah but all nice with the crab tang hoon and clams..YUM!!!!!

cost us RM50 for the crab tang hoon and RM15 for the clams..but very nice la..

after that i dropped dead on the bed. =_____=”

the two terms i often encounter in CLEO,

where steal means the price is so cheap you must get it,

while splurge means something so good you must get/invest in it despite the price. (my own interpretation,thanks)

anyway, target shopping FAIL!!!!! like miserably..

initially i was just going to get a toner and the dried noodles then research on the CNY decor..but..aih…..

STILL, i got some pretty stuff at some good price..

ALERT – always,always be alert when you’re outside. like i said,let’s face it,at times we just had to carry handbags,but 1-dont carry when you really dont need to. (if he grumbles on you about carrying a handbag then you dont keep stuff for him anymore until you forgive him) 2-be alert but ACT like nothing by looking all around suspiciously,you’re not guilty for being suspicious,eyeing almost everyone like a potential criminal,my word.(especially motorcycles)

RUN – yes. dont hesitate to run if you have the chance (i.e, distance) dont give the xxxxxxx the chance to hold you down. never. even if they’re holding knives. FTL. i mean,not everyone knows martial arts. i’ve even forgot mine.

THROW – yes. throw whatever they’re after into a place so as 1-to give you time to run. 2- you have another chance of saving your stuff like purse. like i threw it into an old uncle’s house.

SCREAM - yes. again dont hesitate to scream,by all means in this kind incidents. but here’s a trick- always,always REHEARSE in your mind,as in the possible events,as i said earlier,no harm to be suspicious about everyone on the street. because in most cases,the victim/survivor thought they are screaming while actually their nervousness landed them unable to scream.

then,in the worst case senario, got robbed, you have to know what you had in your purse or bag to help the police to help you yourself. plus you need to reapply stuff or cards later and you need all the info you have. oh and if you’re of age, apply a debit so you dont need to bring too much cash and you can immediately cancel the cards.

and girls,dont cry on this,be cool and calm and settle this first before you go home and cry.

i should be on bed but im dying to write this down first..

so for a special occasion for a special someone, i just have a nice suggestion..with a low cost..=D

so what you can do is,

first, check whether your printer is breathing (meaning,alive,able to print things,and i just got mine new cartridges so yea mine is very much alive)

then,print out mosaic layout photos of your selection..(so which is why you need your printer to be alive,thanks) you may use various or different kinds of software to create/edit yours but make sure you can save and print it or you will end up banging your head on the wall.

(note: make sure you put them according to your pictures’ nature-portrait or horizontal or stuff,you wouldnt want the important faces cropped off,would you?)

then,rush out to (if you havent) the nearest gift shops like S&J (i mean, preferably selling stuff at reasonable price,coz i just got shocked for some with five times the price =__=”) and pick a nice photo frame with multiple openings, by then you should have in mind how many openings or shapes or style you would want.

erm so as you know,people,yup,people have been feeling bored near to puke (nah,im just joking) seeing me wearing the same old pieces/pair (and yup i DO mix and match see how good i am)

so i decided it’s time to HUNT down some basic pieces to give the wardrobe a lil boost..

so recently there’s this ‘wave’ in FB/news about this guy who committed suicide coz of a break up of a girl who didnt even appreciate him..

and until now,i didnt make any comment or stuff regarding this piece of news..

BUT,i did see two sides of responses in FB/news. one, of coz, showing sympathy and all..

but it’s the other side of the response that caught my attention and both came from my FB friends..

mainly,they’re asking people not to ‘promote’ for this guy which, in turn will promote the thought of suicide. said, he didnt die for his country in line of duty (which not many of us seem to commemorate),and not that he died while protecting his then gf..plus,said,he hvnt even repay what his parents gave him all these years,and leaving behind sadness and a mess to deal with..

i DO feel sad for his family and friends,who’d lost a son/friend..

very very sad..i DO..

there’s just NO POINT committing suicide, if YOU are thinking about it now.. really..not only the above reasons but,the obvious truth is, he/she DOESNT WORTH IT and why the hell many people still dont understand this?not like he/she is gonna come back after you commit suicide..and like another friend of mine said, if he lived long enough after this,he could have figured he was stupid doing all these..

i thank Him for holding me and pull me back into the circle..i admit if it was not the religion,i could have done this so.really. and it’d be such a sin.

i even stopped or held back on sharing all these love notes on FB..mainly becoz i felt,what’s the point?so what do you actually learn through it?each and everyone is just unique..do you expect if you abide by all the said rules you will get what you want? basically yes,but dont forget he/she is still a human,a person,a unique person. if you’re so keen,why dont you just get a psychology/sexology self-help book?..

on a lighter note,BUSY life recently so forgive me if i’m not replying you anything. super busy,be it major or minor.

i dont know what got into me coz i drove from:

[well,that’s like,basically saje =D]

now my little blue baby is in good condition already,i can move to anywhere by myself =D and when i drive i feel so powered XD and i have totally no problem driving a new route anymore! ummmm..smell of freedom eh!

i think i’ve been driving within residential area for..1 year plus?and gone out to major routes for..almost 1 year?

ha! anyway, yay!

and and!

i found that i can actually shop in the new sunday pasar malam here for my clothes! i believe it’s the www that brought trends to everywhere in the world that is ‘connected’,coz i actually saw some real trendy pieces as from what i saw from online mall! *hint Jipaban* as well as many basic pieces that i really need to buff my wardrobe!

[previously i refused to shop in the pasar malam here as the pieces would be so outdated,when i go back to KL i’ll hit Times Square for the cheap intersting deals,ya call me cheapskate whatever you want but it worth it and it’s nice!]

so anyway, yay2!

p/s: by the way saw the corporate social responsibility programme (called CSR) by Tambun Lost World from The star today..so glad these corporate bodies are giving back to the society,shall continue it whether or not it was compulsory.=)

of course mine is very unorthodox as i dont have cheese and parsley in my fridge..

so i sauted the garlic with vege oil and added cooked pasta,with chicken stock granule ,white pepper and leftover Domino’s chili flakes for the kick..

oh and it kinda cured my flu with these HOT stuff =_____= (along with warm baths)..

and thanks ALOT to my brother,i managed to do that. no,no that he nagged me but we just sort of head out as soon as i’ve got my stuff. (we also went into TWO 100Yen shop today)

Japanese instant noodles,Onigiri pack(cant wait to try!!)

seaweed+some hooks are not for me tho.

necessity!! shampoo,lotion,sunblock and masks. love the sunblock as it has sunblock+moisturiser+whitening effect together. starting to love Za!

ahhhh! my Fav!! CLEO,RD,(tho they are of Nov issues =__=) and and!! Sophie Kinsella’s Mini Shopaholic (!!) , my new copy of HP7 AND THE TALES OF BEEDLE THE BARD (!!!!!) argh how can an HP fan miss the Fairy Tales of the Magical World?! =D

bummer 1:car had to be sent to the mechanics..and what a hole to my pocket..but,better be safe than sorry,no?

bummer 2:as soon as i got home i had a bout of fatigue attack..OMG..if i’ve not eaten it could have been much much worse..this time,it hit me only once..and luckily i was home in time!! i had to hold myself up to go to the toilet then change then drop myself on the bed..i was like in coma for an hour..seriously=__= such a torture..when you’re about to drop any time soon but didnt and you feel your body’s ‘Qi’ being ripped apart..some of my friends have it too..i wonder how many of you have this..if you’re kind enough to share..

and the aftereffect kicks in now as my head is a lil heavy..panadol?no idea..

such as, when you have quite a long list of stuff you need to ‘pick up’ as you salary arrive,after the most excruciating wait.

always,always we wore pretty heels to shop/meet up and etc. it’s fine when you are on a short session. but for a serious session with that kind of long list? i recommend the below:

to be kept to minimal maintenance.

you wouldnt want to worry about your smudged make up/almost-exposed boobs while you’re in a serious shopping job,would you?(and what’s more with this YES-i mean Year End Sale,or any other SALES by means, plus School Holiday, crowd’s getting crazy!!)

let’s start with the bad ones..

Hel(l), full name’s History of English Language, he was like, chasing after me so hard but,i dont wanna listen to his long lame jokes,man! i know we just wont work!gargh!

then there’s an English man, Iel, full name’s Intro to English Literature,well..he was pretty charming at first..really..we flirted and all..but in the end, argh, i found him SO BORING i decided to call it off.

oh wait, there was another one, his friend, who came after we broke? name’s Melit,yea, Malaysian English Literature. erm..somewhat no chemistry between us, but , yea we gave it a good end,tho. =p

then there’re ‘them’, whom i thought we wouldnt work but eventually i had a fun time with..

one is Sagoe, Structure and Grammar of English,he’s pretty NEAT! i kinda like him since im a virgo. but you know ther sayings two virgo(es) can never be together?yea that’s the curse. *le sigh*

his friend?Ems, English Morphology and Syntax, kinda cute too. but he’s too busy drawing the ‘trees’ and i just left. and i swear he still dont know that i left,yet. *le sigh2*

but i met a cute scientist , Psychol, yea i know, he’s not a psycho ok, it’s his name, Psycholinguistics. Fun guy, you know, learnt alot about sciences. But i still decided to call it off as i had to make so much effort to understand his jargon (i.e. prof/occupational languages).

ooooh and those HOT guys! gosh those nights we had!

one being Epp, English Phonetics and Phonology. oh i tell you! his SEXY voice! ummmm! always so seductive! but he found his future in BBC.CO.UK coz of his voice..so yea..off he went..sadness..

oh and a Paediatric doctor, we all called him LLT, Language Learning Theories. he’s so great with the babies! but one night we were talking about commitment, and i decided it’s not time yet.

and the one who’s embedded deep in my memory is LT, Language Teaching. we did have fun going around classes. we’ll be planning lessons together. but he was soon transferred to another school. *le sigh3*

and countless others who ‘flirted’ with me but i didnt bother. ;p

ahhhh..coz the weather for these two nights just prompt me to write so..i dont need to have a night out..a night in would do now..=p

My Dream Night In would include:

1. cozy seats for me to stretch out my legs and lay my back, and in this case, a bed is totally not a problem. =p environment preferably to be clean and neat for max enjoyment without irritants.

2.either DVD/TV/Lappie will work as long as it has something that i like inside. ;p

3.if it’s dinner, i would like some raw stuff sushi/Domino’s/best chips with Ramly/McD burgers. =D (preferably which i dont need to wash up later)

4.a big blanket/squashy pillows/huggables to snuggle in/shield from coldness, preferably PINK LOL..aw i miss my pink blanket and bed in cheras T_T

5.why did i say coldness, coz i would also love drizzling rain outside as long as it’s not thunderstorm XD

nah that’s why you&i stay in instead,no?

6. of course in comfy shorts and t-shirt ^^

this is a post honouring my partner in CRIMES in uni days..

and NO he is not and wasnt my bf but we can go as crazy as we can get..(and i guess, to him, the ‘crimes’ we did were just mediocre..LOL)

so how crazy?as i can remember:

1. sneaked out of a boring lecture together XD (okay! CRIME!!)

2. laughed about the DiGi train until the people looked at us like we just ate some poisonous laughing fruits..

it’s like this. there was once Rapid KL has PUTRA LINE trains installed with their respective advertisers’ slogans as notification for stops.(also, their whole interior and exterior) so DiGi’s one were in a super high pitched tone (like nobody’s business) saying: I love Digi! and then we acted and laughed at this. i know. LAME! somehow i said: aiyo better not be DiGi train later lor..then we kept talking about it until…..we were inside the train and we heard: Next stop, Bangsar. xxxxx..I Love DiGi! then.. we laughed non-stop =0=”

[there were KFC and McD as well which even tells you which stop has McD nearby!]

4. TRAVELLED all around like the Rapid KL is opened by me. =p like, as long as we have time, mana mana pun boleh. but normally i rush home quite soon la haha.. [hah! now you know partially why i can tell you the public transport route when you ask me LOL!]

5. taught me how to hxxk people’s comp! (but trust me i forgot edi!!) CRIME!!

seriously, when i moved from ipoh to KL it was ok. taking rented room and stuff like that. then soon, i had to travel a distance to and from campus, much like a local. so usually, i will meet him or follow him to LRT station and take the route home. and at times we will even meet ah shing, sim sim, or allina.

seriously, if it was not them, my travel route would be less fun.

but for the last and longest part of the route, usually i will spend it by myself..either being all emo or sleeping in it..and when classes so unfortunately landed on the ever primed 9to5 hours, i will ~~get to~~ have to sleep longer before i reach home coz of the jam..

there is just this ~~nostalgic tragic sympathetic~~ part when you travel with all these familiar 9to5 faces..like, fret not, they are all in it with you.. =_= you can even know like, hey, why does he get down here today?i thought [fill in the blank] like that..

those days, the happiest part must have been the gatherings part when we dont have classes or have special occasions =”(

Siblings came back so we went out to dine with Bro’s sponsorship LOL!

and Bro suggested Oh Sushi coz it was cheap and fresh and stuff like that..and i totally have no qualms about Bro being so excellent in maintaining things like ordering dish and entertaining us, his nonsensical baby sisters LOL!

Bro and i actually even wanted to order the sea urchin , oysters (YUM!!) and exotic stuff like that but, considering only two of use eating raw stuff and the sea urchin was actually that expensive..we ceased the plan..=p see? im such a considerate sister LOL!

but we did enjoy the enough sashimi we had ..heeee..

but i also learnt that i tak boleh tahan Natto..x_x very stinky to me..urgh..

p/s: oh and i tried a new trick on my eyes..hehe gave my eyes quite some nice effect..=p guess what is it?? (no, other than fake lashes..LOL!)

between true lovers, puppy-lovers,secret lovers,husbands and wives, third-party idiots and different types of couples..

each has some kind of secret code of love..

it could be the common Terms of Endearment or actions or any special figures..anything special for the two..

the point is, these secret codes of love, they do not only exist as a physical consolation, but much of a deeper sense of belonging..belonging to the person..

for an example, when the basterd is busy with work or, in some worse cases, busy with the biatch on the other side, you will still somehow feel contented and all calm from the fire of frustration just now when he just simply calls your secret nick or does something which is your secret code of love, like, suddenly turn around and have a quick sniff of your unique scent..

(well if the basterd is doing this when he is with the biatch then, well, FYL. you never know, dont you?)

19 years old..

say..what were you doing when you were 19 years old? Form 6?College? Started dating? or have started dating even earlier?

or you’ve started thinking about financing your car, house and stuff?jobs?salary?

you know when people tell you not to do dangerous stuff and all?

and you never listen. (i bet?)

i was ‘young’ or at that age too..and of course, like many others, i made mistakes that the youngsters tend to make.

but, luckily, i have Him in my mind, and i followed His instructions and teachings..so, it wasnt that bad. (or so i thought) i can really felt He protected me in every way He could.

and at age 24 now, i can say, whatever they told you (except those very irrational or illogical or blah and you know what i mean), it has got to have some reasons behind it.

these, i say, you will never learn until you faced ’em.or you yourself have grew out of it. (like silly games and actions,or decisions) but some, have not even have the chance to learn it after facing it. life, is as such. as fragile. as one way as it could be.

and, dont talk about caring or love for others when you cant even take good care of yourself or not even sure of what you are doing or what your plan is.

when you started taking all these responsibilities, that is when you have grown up one step.

‘thinking’ or ‘assuming’ that you’re mature is just nonsense, ok? heck,what do you know about it?

i still remember at 19 (yes, the 19) i was hit by a motorcycle crossing the four-lanes one way road in front of the school to go to the shopping mall opposite to get something for a short while.

the Kancil blocked my view of the motorcycle which was coming through and soon enough, i got a ‘hit’. i ‘flipped’ a few round ,before it came to an end a few metres after that.

as lucky as i was, news spread, people gathered around me giving first aid. soon i was in the ambulance.

stomach was hit but no internal bleeding. but i couldnt even stand properly as my ankle was sprained. and i was dizzy due to the low blood pressure from the hit. and my arms and legs were bleeding with ugly looking fresh wounds.

and that day, was the day of my maternal grandpa’s funeral. =_= which i should have just go home soon after getting the stationery.

i lost something (hurt), but i’ve also gained something that day.

yea, so now you still think you’re that fabulous?

so watched Piranha today..which was more like paying movie tickets to scare ourselves..=_=” well not to say bad in effect but..yea it’s ok..you get some bodies in halves with intestines showing and stuff like that..so yea..=_=” oh! and corpse that moves! woots! =.=”

anyway, so about that corpse that moves..

we were so engrossed in the next ‘attack’ that, when the person in front got shocked of the ‘suddenly-the-corpse-moved’ kinda scene, she spilled HALF her pop corn out which ‘landed’ on our feet =_=” and we thought the Piranha actually came up to eat us!! (nah..actually i thought of the cockroaches after a few seconds of thoughts =p)

and when we leave, and the cinema lights were finally on, i found my bag and my jeans were stuck with the pop corn =_=”

so much so of the 18+ kinda shocking scene..

okay, to be really frank, NO, it’s not about Inception the movie but very much related about Inception.

recently, i was in a condition where every time i sleep (even a short dozing off), i will have dream/dreams that ‘feature’ some ‘fictional’ problems or dilemma which i will have to face and solve..but before i get to ‘solve’ it i was jolted awake by the frustration and followed soon by tiredness..

=_= what?somebody is trying to ‘incept’/’extract’ something into/out of my mind? =.=

isnt my life bad enough?urgh..

the signs are telling me not to give up and be positive because what i’ve wished for is coming soon..but what i see is different from what i wished..(erm..well..there were some signs that show what i wished for..er…..whatever..)

my life recently was like a roller coaster, you see.

i can easily get emo when the button is hit (if you get what i mean).

just for this morning the ‘button’ was hit, like how i was so tangled and frustrated..

but soon after that, i told myself, i must think positively..feel positively..and be positive!

so the other day, went to Nagoya for the fabric first..

you know when people say it is always tedious to make/get traditional clothes done..and it’s always better to be tailor-made/specially tailored for oneself..unless you’ve got such ‘standard’ figure you might be able to get a good fitting one from the boutique..

[yea talk about that,it’s the same for your blazer,no?i dont have one..but i’ve got a stretchy jacket which looks like a blazer LOL!]

so after much choosing and picking these are mine:

the uncle said the green/blue batik is the modern and hot-selling piece =_=” and those ‘typical’ batik patterns you see are outdated..=_=”

oh and i picked the purple set coz looks nice =D and the top fabric is sheer! LOL! nyeh nyeh..

so today, there was this PR job (actually more like overall event stuff but yea)

i actually prepared my attire last night along with the black stocking (i dont have leggings)

and this morning, have no idea what luck i was in, the stocking was spoilt =_= i think its the stupid hanger’s fault. *ahem*

so i have no choice but to wear slack.

when i check the time its already late,so rushed to the scene only to do make up @ the toilet there (ops..)

oh but before that, i also made the exit at the wrong floor..+_+ why does an M floor exist?*ahem* no idea. i was just told ‘first floor’.

and as i was wondering which banquet hall they booked, i saw someone..who ‘wasnt’ supposed to be there…..

and this time, the guard did not block me for questioning as i guess, its THE season so everyone was going in and out there..of course it must be the innocent faces like mine xp (excuse me..)

anyway, i got the form for ABC yesterday. when i thought i could settle it and hand it in there, i was shocked by some..erm..procedures..so i had to go back and ask for my parents’ assistance..

the thing is,you ask me to give a copy of my IC, ok.

then why do you still need my birth cert or surat beranak? =.=” lah..HOW OLD AM I?? i have a blue MyKad means im a Malaysian and my parents are Malaysian/married in Malaysia/born in Malaysia lar..=.=”” and you can sure check out my data (like how heavy i was or what time i was born and where =.=”””) in Jabatan Pendaftaran’s database if you suspect me kan..

then asked me to provide a copy of JPA’s recognition letter of my IPTS (private Uni/Colleges) course. i then asked the girl yesterday, what was it. she said, dont know la..i think its the offer letter of xxxxx. ok. so i even photocopied the letter of admission and conferment of degree..when i reach to hand in the form today, then only i got to know, i have to go to MQA’s website and print out the details of my course along with its approval status. you guys sure remember the days when the lecturers were so kan cheong with the interviews of us kan? that’s it. then again, why,cant,you, just,go,check,it,out la! aih…..i also can access you cant meh?? =.=

the thing is, the girl working there also cant tell me what exactly is that thing..aiyo, same when i ask the McDonald’s waiter: erm, is the promotion still on? he didnt even say ‘dont know’ and just motion and asked me to ask the counter. =.=” oh, so that’s how you answer or serve your clients/customers la? you work for that you dont even know how to answer your clients/customers enquiries..adoi..

ANYWAY, i handed it in..and i got a call..to Cow-ing Town..Menglembu la..haha..

went for lunch there..@ 钻石咖哩粉 (erm i think the shop’s name is diamond curry noodle?)

had their famous curry noodle there although they also have many other varieties of noodles(like laksa and etc)..i picked yellow noodle, the sengkuang pastry (my fav ok!), the fried fu chuk (soya skin),meatball and the stuffed and fried toufu..

it was just nice, tho not to the extend i exclaim here but yes, it was nicely done with their Chinese styled curry. (the watery bland kind)

the more surprised was the Iced Red Bean (recommended). i was actually half forced to order that although i thought of ordering a more clear kind of drink coz i was thirsty and hot. when the drink reached our table, it was more of purplish/dark rose coloured red bean ‘paste’ with snowy ice, apparently also layered with some evaporated milk. (the famous malaysian susu sejat)

one sip of it, OMG! it was just, a prefect combination! and its more fragrant i guess they added the dried mandarin orange skin inside. yum yum! and it was not too thick as i worried (i wanted more WATER!) but i did drink alot after i got home..heheh..

oh yea, sorry..no picture =( coz was busy eating!! heheh!! really nice..when’s the next huh? *hint*

anyway, Selamat Berpuasa!^^

(i thought of writing this post in BM but i guess not =_= dont wanna embarrass myself..*pout**point fingers*)

oh ya, just remember ask me to buka puasa/bersahur together..LOL! (erm no la..just kidding..*shy shy*)

so on sunday, i finally gave out the Doraemon package..haha glad that it was all smiles and happiness..and bliss..

even more surprised was getting the ‘Penang’ package from the old folks..they remembered me actually LOL! (i think coz i bought them gifts during CNY and when i got back..) so happy! though it was just nutmeg in syrup,nutmeg juice and angku, it was priceless to me and i was just so happy at that moment! ^0^v

and yesterday, when we went out to pick up dad, we talked about the *ahem* when my brother was camping in Ulu Chepor =.=”

aha..those of you in Kinta Valley should have heard of this ‘famous’ camping place..and you sure know what’s in store..

so he said, they, yes, they, not he, met TWO..=.=””

once was just in the middle of the road (the road leading to the camp side,which is very narrow and surrounded by trees and all =.=)

the other one was just outside the camp =.=

i asked him, what were ‘they’ doing huh?he said, nothing..=.=””

the teacher actually saw it as well..but for those who are frequent/active in camping/jungle tracking activities should know well how to deal with these..

so the teacher said, no photo taking at that moment..=.=

first thing first, dont be as panicky like my mum =_= who says should shout..

just act as normal!! i explained, basically we’re of two different worlds kan, so basically we are unable to make contact kan?(minus the mediums)

OMG was nicely plotted! with the physics involved! (previously J.K. Rowling had a book explaining the magical phenomena which included legends and old alchemists stuff)

and the male leading character was as geeky as ever =.=
